End The Cycle of Pain

Welcome

H_Image_animation_Pain_regionsOur staff extends our most heartfelt greetings to you and promises to give you the most premier care available in treatment of chronic and acute pain. You or your loved one will receive a multidisciplinary approach to pain which will be individualized to best fit your needs and lifestyle.

Pain is the most common reason individuals seek medical attention; 86 million Americans suffer from pain. Pain affects individuals physically, psychologically, and socially. Chronic unrelieved pain can reduce an individual’s level of independence, decrease involvement in daily activities, increase social isolation, and ultimately cause clinical depression.

We understand that chronic pain can rule your life. It interferes with your ability to work, sleep, and enjoy your family and friends. When chronic pain disrupts your quality of life and does not improve with standard treatments, The Pain Management Institute is here to help. There are many safe, proven effective treatments available that can eliminate or reduce chronic pain. The sooner you seek treatment, the sooner you can start enjoying life again.

We have world class experience in treating pain problems. We have a state of the art facility in Wayne and Holmes counties. Our outcomes focus on reducing pain, reducing consumption of analgesics, enhancing activities of daily living, getting the individual to return to work, and improving other functional abilities.

Philosophy of Care

A good doctor keeps an open mind and considers all the concerns of their patient. I always strive to understand each individual and her or his environment and think that the small things can lead to large healing. I see people who are in need and want health. While preventing illness and treating suffering, I see people through lenses that respect both traditional and non-traditional information and treatments. I listen to each individual’s story so that I learn what may provide the best benefit. I feel there is always more to an individual than what I know — a patient is more than someone with a problem, they are a person with something to share and looking for guidance. Healing develops from a relationship in which learning and teaching flows from physician to patient and from patient to physician. This is the aspect of caring for people that I enjoy most and that I believe is crucial to delivering superior care.
